Today for Berkeley it was one of the best days as a college you have had.

The focus was incredible and the participation was awesome.

During a dream team meeting a scholar made the observation that when you are focused like am you were today you are abke to learn so much.

Hey Scholars,

The last few days we have been working on 2 step equations and being able to solve them using the arithmetic method and now we have beginning to use the algebraic method.

Some vocabulary to remember is below:

Key Vocabulary

· Equation: two expressions set equal to one another · Variable: a letter used to take the place of an unknown value · Solution: the value that makes an equation true · Arithmetic approach: the approach to solving a problem that involves arithmetic only; numbers and operations
